SHAG

I'm soooo tired from training.

Why didn't I keep fit throughout?

Or at least stay active.

So that when competition comes (Feb 18), I won't feel so bulky and unfit!

My heart is willing but my legs can't carry me.

It takes a miracle this time!

If Philip can do it, by faith I can too =D Hahaha!

Creativity

I am creative.

Some people can draw well, some people make great films, others are able to write fanastic articles or put words together to form a beautiful poem. Some can sing, some can dance, and others can act.

For me, I love handicrafts. I love making cards, painting my nails & putting on make-up.

These are ways I express my creativity!

Recently, I tried to make Christmas cards... but was too lazy to complete. Opps! Half-done cards again.. Have quite a few half done cards from past Christmas. Hahaha.

I bought new make up from a make-up shop in Bangkok. Have yet to use them all... But I find myself being creative when I apply the eye shadow, blushes, foundation etc. I feel happy doing so... how I can enhance my appearance through make-up and how can I create different looks. Hmmx... maybe one day, I'll take up a course on grooming.

And did I mention, I love to paint my nails and paint nails for others. I did my first french manicure, with transparent light pink with purple tips. I tot it's going to be very challenging. It was difficult to paint my right hand, my left hand was shivering when holding the brush! But I receive quite good comments for a first timer. CNY is coming... I want to get nail stones & nail stickers to design my nails. I feel so delighted when I express my creativity in nail art!

So happy to discover these creative part of me in 2009 =D

EVERYONE is creative. Just need to find where your creativity lies, then use it and it'll just flow!

School is OUT, Fun is IN

My blog is full of cobwebs now!!! I expected this when I first started my blog... cause I know I'm not so persistent in these kind of things; it's a sudden rush of passion that I started the blog. Well, in any case, I'm blogging now cause I've got quite abit of time in my hands. Exams are over! And I'm glad they are... This exam period is extremely challenging. I fell sick...very sick. Had a fever that refuse to go away for days and hit right up to 39.5 degrees. The ordeal lasted til just the day before my exams that I finally feel much much better. I've never fallen so sick for a very long time. I do catch a cold here and there but never so bad and so long! To make things worse, I can't rest because I've so much revision to do. On top of that, I didn't want to miss Asia Conference. Even though, I missed quite alot of it =(

Woooh! It was soooo stressful and I'm glad I'm having the time to rest and enjoy life this week. So to make myself happy, I did up my nails.. I'm gonna be meeting up some friends this week.. I'm gonna make x'mas cards (got inspired by the card shop at citi-link!)... And I'll be emceeing at LOUD Party @ *scape this Friday. All of these I LOVE to do. And of course, not forgetting...just bumming around to watch tv. Hahaha. After this week of indulgence in Me Myself and I (Haha!), I'll be busy doing quite a few things... Emerge! MMF?? X'mas!!!! Thanksgiving & Appreciation! Meeting new ppl, hanging out with friends! Growth! I'm looking forward for a fruitful, fun and fulfilling December. I'm excited even as I'm typing it now... I'm gonna end my year on a high note, so 2009 will begin high! Life just gets better and of course... busier! Hahaha.

2009 is going to be my best year yet!

Australia - Melbourne City

Melbourne City is absolutely beautiful, it has an old english look which makes one nostalgic for the past.

Here's Melbourne City at night....

And Melbourne City in the day...

Electirc Trams in 21st Century modern Melbourne City!

The trucks in Australia just look so cute and toy-like. They are colourful and some even look like Transformers.

Visited the national library...

My sis and I took the City Tour Shuttle Bus and alighted at University of Melbourne. The place is absolutely "Harry-Potter"... if you know what I mean. And when I compare Melbourne Uni to NUS... hmmmx... I can't even compare to begin with.

At the background is the hostel for Melbourne Uni. And it looks that the castle which Harry Potter lived!!! Eusoff oh eusoff hall... You need a major make over!

Australia! - Philip's Island

The second day in Melbourne, we went on a tour group to Philip's Island. The 1st stop for lunch is in this town called Tooradin.

We bought chicken and chips and we got a huge box of chips! Check them out! Of course...we couldn't finish and threw most of them away. Man, we were so shocked when we receive our food.

Next stop, a vineyard. Nothing spectacular...kinda boring. After which, we headed to farmyards where to my surprise, I enjoyed myself very much. For a person who is afraid and don't like animals, I guess I proved myself wrong =D

On the way to Philip's Island where the very cute and lovely penguins come on shore after 6.30pm when all is dark. It was really fun to watch the penguins walk to shore and observe their behavior. A sight to behold... but no pictures allowed! Philip's Island is very cold... especially when it's night time in winter and the wind is blowing mercilessly at you. I think it should be less than 10degrees there.

Cuties!
