For the first time this year and for my first time since don't know when, i attended a class gathering with my JC classmates. We had dinner @ Bukit Timah then went for ice-cream @ Serene Centre. I'm glad to catch up and chat with some of them, especially those I don't frequently hang out with. It was happy even to just see everyone doing quite well. Most of the guys have ORD and I'll see many of them in school during the later half of the year. Didn't take many pictures... but took some from facebook =D

Christmas
My favourite time of the year: CHRISTMAS!
I went for a Christmas gathering with my JC gang. It's been sometime I've met some of them. Sorry for all my absence! Anyway, all of us (but 1 who went UK to study) were there. It was so cosy eating around the table. Really felt the love and warmth of Christmas from these very dear friends.
I left early, so didn't have many pictures...

Xiefen made spring rolls. They tasted great! Last Christmas she made almond jelly with longan which was awesome too. Hmms... but this picture doesn't do justice to the spring roll =(
The salad that lyd and kasster made - which cause our dinner to start late. Haha. But with all honesty, it's one of the best salads I've eaten. Good things are worth the wait!
City Harvest is the best place to spend Christmas. I'm bias but I believe it's true for 51,000 people that came. Full of joy (from the drama), peace (from the candlelights) and hope (from the preaching)... elements of the Christmas Spirit.

Joyce, thanks for coming. It's great to spend xmas eve with you. So glad that we've been gr8 frens for 10years and counting... Love you always!

Charis (Beautiful name, it means grace) & Cindy (Sisters! They look quite alike) and Shihui.
My Dad joined my siblings & I this Christmas. We went to the Christmas fiesta where there were numerous stalls selling clothes at very low prices! Bought a Christmas gift for a friend there and a top for myself - Christmas present for myself. Hees. My sister and I tried to make our dad buy stuff for us but failed! Haha.
It was snowing at Expo... But only on Kit =D
Of course Christmas is about giving... But everyone wants to receive presents. And I have many awesome gifts from many special friends:
I absolutely love this necklace. It's a lollipop, NOT a microphone! It's cute, yet cool because of it's glitter! I'm into blink blink and shiny clothes and accessories.

I organized a Christmas gift exchange among my family members. Got everybody to write down 3 things they hope to receive on a piece of paper. Then we draw lots to see who are we giving to. Everyone was so happy to receive a gift that they want. Aunty Doris, thanks for the gift!
Another Christmas gift exchange. Got 2 tops...so in time because school is starting! New clothes for new semester. Thanks to my angel Mingyao and Marlin who help choose it!

On the 17th Dec, my NUS psy friends celebrated Jes 21st bday. It's the first time we hang outside of school and spend a wonderful day together. First time we're not together in lecture halls or canteen. Haha. And we're planning to have a bowling seesion before school starts. I really had a great time and enjoyed myself. Most importantly, the star of the day is Jes. So glad she had fun too... This is a very late post. But Happy 21st Birthday Jes!
K-BOX at Cineleisure
K-Box Session: My first time at K-box. Felt a lil' awkward at first cause I don't listen to music so I don't know how to sing the songs. But after awhile, I found some familiar song and have a great time singing. We ended the k-box session singing "Peng You" =) When a man finds a friend, he finds treasure!
After that we went to take neo-prints...haha! 20plus yr olds taking neo-prints. Hees. Being youthful again. Haven't done that for almost 3years. But it's fun and we all look gr8. Yuhui, email us the pictures!
Next is the hippo tour opposite Heeren. Toured Orchard Road on a roofless double deck bus. The wind was strong and cold. It really relaxing. Pictures are in Cheryl's camera. EMAIL THE PICS TO ME!!!
Then we had dinner at Thai Express... I really like the food at Thai Express. But I think the outlet at PS is not as good as the one at Katong.

Live the dream
These are things that could stiffle you from doing great things...
1) Criticisms of others
2) Fear
3) Broken relationships
4) Financial poverty
5) A backward mindset
6) No faith, hope and love!
How then?
1) Recall previous successes... You've done it once, you can do it again! People say it's impossible, it can't be done! But adiddas says, Impossible is nothing. Know there will always be people criticizing whatever you do... so Just do it! Nike is right after all. Well, of course, there will be those darlings who will always appreciate your dreams!
2) Start having confidence. Focus on the possibilities. What you focus on will prosper (by my dad!)
3) Resotre relationships that are important.. or else just move on and be wise in who you make friends with. Hang around dream destroyers, you'll lose your dream. Hang around dream builders, you'll find yourself closer to your dream.
4) Start giving and be generous... Plant an apple seed, reap an apple tree. Plant your money, reap a money tree =D
5) Get some knowlegde that will help you achieve your dreams.
6) Find unconditional love, mountain moving faith and hope. There's only one way... And I've found Him. My life was never the same again =) Thank you Jesus.
